She’s by far the best Arts unit in the game. She’s also part of the best Buster farming team in the game and is an optimal support for a handful of other Buster Servants. She’s a workable support for Arts and Buster in general and enables some unique and situationally important things. She’s a ridiculously good farmer.Cu has a dodge, so my usual “dodge is better” complaint is moot. Protection from Arrows is one of the best dodge skills in the game. The dodge can potentially last more than a turn if you’re lucky (and it’s impossible to waste the effect), and it gives a small defense boost on top of that, and all on a normal cooldown.

The last (probably) of the Shimosa servants, Munenori is an excellent 4* Saber about on par with Saber Lancelot. It’s absolutely valid to worry about what Altria’s release means for the game going forward, but I think it’s a little too early to panic. All-in-all, Altria is ludicrously powerful.

There are other Arts options—even free or relatively accessible ones—but Ranmaru has enough going for them to be an exciting addition to the game for players with less-developed boxes, and even more experienced players may find them nice to have on occasion.
